The Mental Health Program at Wabauskang First Nation provides compassionate, culturally informed support for individuals and families facing mental health challenges. We offer counseling, crisis intervention, and traditional healing services to help promote balance and well-being in our community.
Our Services
🧠 Counseling & Therapy – One-on-one and group counseling for stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma.
🌿 Cultural & Traditional Healing – Access to Elders, land-based healing, smudging, and traditional teachings.
📞 Crisis Support & Intervention – Immediate assistance for individuals in crisis or experiencing emotional distress.
💬 Workshops & Support Groups – Mental wellness sessions, talking circles, and peer support networks.
🚸 Youth & Family Support – Programs that help children, teens, and families navigate emotional challenges.
Who Can Access This Program?
Mental health services are available to all Wabauskang First Nation members, including individuals, youth, and families. All support is confidential and culturally respectful.
