The Healthy Babies, Healthy Children Program at Wabauskang First Nation provides support to expectant parents and families with young children. Our goal is to promote healthy pregnancies, early childhood development, and family well-being by offering culturally rooted, family-centered services.

How We Support Families

👶 Prenatal & Postnatal Support – Guidance for expectant parents, newborn care, and breastfeeding support.

🍼 Child Development Resources – Information on growth milestones, early learning, and parenting strategies.

🏡 Home Visits – Personalized support from trained professionals in the comfort of your home.

🌿 Cultural & Traditional Teachings – Access to Elders, traditional parenting practices, and land-based learning.

🤝 Family & Community Connections – Workshops, playgroups, and support networks for parents and caregivers.

Who Can Access This Program?

This program is available to expectant parents, new parents, and families with young children (0-6 years old) in the Wabauskang First Nation community. Our services are free, voluntary, and confidential.
