Wabauskang First Nation is committed to ensuring our members have access to essential health services. The Extended Health Benefits Program provides coverage for medical expenses not covered by other health plans, helping to support the well-being of our community.

Benefits are determined based on individual needs and may include:

π Prescription Drugs β Assistance with costs for prescribed medications.
π Eyeglasses β Support for vision care, including prescription glasses and eye exams.
𦻠Hearing Aids β Financial assistance for hearing assessments and hearing devices.
π©Έ Diabetic Supplies β Coverage for glucose monitors, test strips, and other necessary equipment.
πͺ Surgical Supplies & Dressings β Support for post-surgery care and medical dressings.
π Transportation for Medical Appointments β Assistance with travel costs for out-of-community healthcare services.
Eligibility
Members of Wabauskang First Nation 16-65 years of age
Individuals and families who:
were eligible for Ontario Works in the previous months, or
are no longer eligible for Ontario Works because they received a payment for loss of income under the 1986-1990 Hepatitis C Settlement Agreement
